My Tattoos
“I believe speaking your truth is when your mind, mood, mouth and motions are one in the same. What you think, feel, say and do are in alignment. Otherwise, you’re simply not being honest about yourself or your choices. You’re living a form of a lie which only keeps you playing small and avoiding the truth limiting your potential for greatness. It’s time to risk being real.”
I got this tattoo for many reasons. It is my favorite out of my three tattoos.
This is my butterfly tattoo, my idea. I love the NEDA symbol and I love butterflies so I came up with a design that I really liked. I mainly got it to remind me keep to my recovery. I might eventually get this quote around it, “Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over it became a butterfly”
“As God as my guide”, on my right foot. Then on my left foot I got “I will walk by faith”
But what I like most about this tattoo is that you can read the quote as “I will walk by faith as God as my guide” or “As God as my guide, I will walk by faith”
This quote just came to me one day, I didn’t see it anywhere or anything. It just came to me and it stuck. I fell in love with it and decided to get it tattooed. It has so much meaning. I love it :)
